Since I launched the book initiative last month, in association with Milton Keynes Council, we've been on the hunt for sponsorship from local MK businesses and I'm delighted to confirm that we have our first sponsor, SEKO Logistics, on board!
I can’t thank SEKO enough for taking an interest in the project and getting the ball rolling for us – and we are now also in discussions with two other Milton Keynes based businesses, which is great news! You can read the full press release here.
SEKO is a Global eCommerce logistics and distribution business that set up its new Distribution Centre at Brinklow in 2014. I’m very excited to be working with them as our first sponsor and I do hope this will help other Milton Keynes businesses to understand why it would be great to get involved. We asked CEO Mark White for a comment and this is what he said:
“Having heard about the book from Gill, we felt that it would be a very worthwhile and exciting project to be involved with, as part of the business community in Milton Keynes. We are very much looking forward to seeing the finished publication.”
Of course, we will need a number of other sponsors, so please do get in touch if you would be interested in finding out more! Remember that our lead sponsors will receive an agreed number of books for use as corporate gifts for Christmas 2016, as well as associated publicity - and additional brand sponsorship opportunities will also be offered for smaller businesses, whose logos will be included on the sponsors page and in supporting publicity.
