If you’re in any way involved in the landscape photography world, even as an avid amateur, you are more than likely to have come across the name Charlie Waite – who is widely considered to be one of the world’s leading landscape photographers.
As a freelance writer and photographer myself, I was delighted to be given the opportunity to interview Charlie for a piece on the Light & Land website recently.
We chatted about their recent three day tour to the Lake District with a group of 12 photographers, and he gave me some great insights – not only into the trip itself but also into the type of things which he teaches on a trip like this.
The image on the right was taken on a Stowe workshop with Charlie a couple of years ago. I remember it well as it poured with rain at the start, and we all ended up like drowned rats!
